The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time (2020)

Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time (2003)
Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time (2012)

1. Marvin Gaye “What’s Going On”(前回6位)
2. The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds”(同2位)
3. Joni Mitchell “Blue”(同30位)
4. Stevie Wonder “Songs in the Key of Life”(同57位)
5. The Beatles “Abbey Road”(同14位)
6. Nirvana “Nevermind”(同17位)
7. Fleetwood Mac “Rumours”(同26位)
8. Prince and the Revolution “Purple Rain”(同76位)
9. Bob Dylan “Blood on the Tracks”(同16位)
10. Lauryn Hill “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”(同314位)

1. The Beatles “Sgt.Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”(今回24位)
2. The Beach Boys “Pet Sounds”(同2位)
3. The Beatles “Revolver”(同11位)
4. Bob Dylan “Highway 61 Revisited”(同18位)
5. The Beatles “Rubber Soul”(同35位)
6. Marvin Gaye “What’s Going On” (同1位)
7. The Rolling Stones “Exile on Main St.”(同14位)
8. The Clash “London Calling”(同16位)
9. Bob Dylan “Blonde On Blonde”(同38位)
10. The Beatles “The White Album”(同29位)

9作=The Beatles
8作=Bob Dylan
6作=Kanye West、Neil Young、The Rolling Stones
5作=David Bowie、Bruce Springsteen、Led Zeppelin

The Beatlesは「Sgt.

Derek and the Dominos「Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs」と、Creamの「Disraeli Gears」のみに。 The Beatles(10→9)、Bob Dylan(11→8)、The Rolling Stones(10→6)らが数を減らしている中で異例と言える。
